Friday night is a great fun night at The Prince Alfred. Saturday afternoon, join in with the raffles. The Sunday afternoon pool from 1 to 5 is very popular.

The Ombreys chairs. Best seats in the house.

The original Prince Alfred was first built in 1868 when the area was called "Gootchie" and the original publican was Charles Scarott. This Hotel was built in 1947 to replace what was lost in a fire and so the license has been continuous for over 133 years. It's a good country pub with top tucker including Kid's meals. Bus trips are catered for with Spit roast facilities available. If you travelling in the area the Gundy is only 7 kms from the Bruce Highway and is well worth the detour for the Gundy's hospitality and the pleasant drive.
