Pier Hotel in Largs Bay (Adelaide)

Pier Hotel

The hotel opened in December 1882 as the Pier Hotel and was renamed the Largs Pier Hotel in 1891. National Trust listed.

From accounts this pub was a working class blood house in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The Australian rock band Cold Chisel 'cut their teeth' at the pub in the early days of their career.

Today, there is no stage, gone are the blue shearers singlets crowded around the bar and the staff now wear business shirts and ties.
