Sydney City Pub history please .

Does anyone have any history on these two great Pub buildings that Peter was good enough to submit. Cheers.

Attached are pics of 2 closed pubs in Sydney. They are located on opposite corners of the intersection of Pitt & King Streets, Sydney, NSW. I knew they used to be pubs, but the names of them eluded me for quite some time, but I finally found an old photo showing both pubs when they were operational. Unfortunately I don't have a history of them.
You have a great site, I have found the information therein most invaluable.
