Booroorban is a tiny township located 770km from Sydney and 55km south of Hay on the Cobb Highway. Originally called Pine Ridge, the name was changed in 1885.
This small village sits on the vast, flat Hay Plains and features a community hall, scenic reserve, shaded playgrounds, and is near the Booroorban State Forest.
The Royal Mail Hotel serves as the social hub of the community, offering the only commercial building in the village with accommodation, meals, and a peppercorn tree-shaded beer garden.
