Cootamundra is a town located in the south-western region of New South Wales, Australia. It lies on the banks of the Muttama Creek and is surrounded by agricultural land.
This charming Riverina town offers cricket history, beautiful parks and gardens, birdwatching trails, agricultural heritage and country hospitality. Known as the birthplace of the cricketer Sir Donald Bradman, who was born in a cottage in the town in 1908, Cootamundra combines rich heritage with warm rural charm and unique attractions.

NSW TrainLink operates two trains each way daily from Melbourne to Sydney which stop at Cootamundra. Additionally, there is a service between Sydney and Griffith once a week (both ways) which stops at Cootamundra. Train services from Sydney take approximately 5 hours and 6 minutes, while regular bus services connect Cootamundra to Canberra (2h 45m) and other regional centers. Cootamundra serves as a hub for NSW TrainLink coaches, providing excellent connections throughout the region. The town is also accessible by car via major regional highways.
