29/07/2015 informed the Hotel has reopened. Good news!
- 18/07/2011 "Last week the DA said there is a strong possibility that the Carathool Hotel may be rebuilt, a syndicate has purchased the site. - Simpy"
Unfortunately destroyed by fire on Wednseday night 22nd September 2010. No News if it will reopen as yet.
"Hotel established in 1873,
nice friendly Country Pub with accommodation. Also sells fuel and groceries." - pre fire description.
