The hotel was established in 1845 and this Pub dates from c1900.

Due to road widening the RTA had to resume land and part of the hotel.

"The Hotel is being restored to its original facade and the job being done on the interior is spectacular and the new bar is quite incredible.

In other words don't be fooled by the exterior.
