December 2011 - "Following structural repairs the Inverleigh Hotel has reopened. A verandah has been erected on the east and north sides of the building based on a photo taken around 1914. "- Brian Burbage

March 2011 - "The rebuilt hotel that opened in 1842. The original Horse Shoe Bend Inn was adjacent to the ford upstream of the current highway. When the bridge was built a new building was erected closer to the highway. Inverleigh was then called Lawsons. A new hotel was built in competition and opemed c1851. The new Hotel was named the Inverleigh and the township eventually adopted the name of the hotel. " - Brian Burbage
