Timboon Railway Shed Distillery in Timboon

The historic Timboon Railway Shed is right in the centre of the township of Timboon, at the end of the Camperdown to Timboon 34km Rail Trail. This iconic building has been lovingly restored and established as a Whisky Distillery to compliment a number of other local produces on sale.

These days the product is a reputable 'top drop' unlike the heady days of illicit production back in the 1890's in the area. But you'll have to pop in to get the full story of that fascinating event, and savour their single malt whisky, strawberry Schnapps and tasty whisky based Coffee Cream - all very easy to indulge!

The Shed provides travelers the opportunity to sample many of the local's wonderful taste treats, including fine chocolates, Ice Cream, locally brewed beers, a number of excellent cheese products and yoghurts. The Shed houses a cafe with open fire and also boasts an alfresco meals area.
