Booleroo Centre is a picturesque town set against the backdrop of Mount Remarkable in South Australia's Southern Flinders Ranges.

The town is renowned as home to South Australia's largest collection of steam and traction engines, housed in the Booleroo Steam & Traction Preservation Society Museum. The society maintains one of Australia's largest collections of tractors and steam engines, with an annual rally held every April that attracts steam enthusiasts from across the country. Together with the twin farming community of Murraytown, they provide a range of basic facilities for tourists.

Booleroo Centre is located approximately 158 miles by road from Adelaide. The best way to reach the town without a car is by bus and taxi, which takes approximately 3 hours 59 minutes and costs $75-$110. By car, visitors can enjoy scenic drives through the Southern Flinders Ranges.

The area features several scenic drives and lookouts such as Box Hill, Magners Hill and Baroota Nob. A new rail trail opened in 2021, offering a 17km stretch from Booleroo Centre to Melrose along the old railway alignment.
